Louis is originally from San Antonio, Texas. Louis attended San Antonio Military Academy and served honorably with the United States Navy as an Air Traffic Controller.
He earned a dual undergraduate degree from the University of Central Oklahoma (formerly Central State University) in Norman, Oklahoma.
The Keilman family operated an exclusive towing contract with the City of San Antonio Police Department for 15 years. Louis was an original founder of the Texas Towing & Recovery Association ad served as the Executive Director and as a board member for many years.
Louis attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School (Lansing, Michigan) and earned his J.D. degree from John Marshall Law School here in Atlanta. In 2000 Louis was sworn as an Assistant District Attorney for the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, Major Narcotics Division, during law school. Louis is a candidate for the Georgia Bar.
While attending law school, Louis also earned a Dual Masters Degree in Public Administration & Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama.
Louis has been married to Janice K. Burns for 41 years. They have four children and ten grandchildren. Four of the children, or their spouses, served or are currently serving in the United States Military, on as an Army Captain.
Louis is responsible for litigation preparation, legal research, motions, and appeal writing. Louis mentor’s new attorneys in the Atlanta area on procedure and motions practice.
Louis is an Honorary Bexar County (Texas) Sheriff, an Honorary member of the Georgia Sheriff’s Association, a former Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, a lifetime member of the University of Central Oklahoma Alumni Association, and a contributor to the John Marshall Law School Endowment Fund.
